Google Apps Administrator

Gladly, Google provides two types of procedure to reset an administrator password.

  1. Google sends reset instructions to your registered secondary email address or to another address that you specify.
  2. Ownership Verification
Reset your administrator password by domain verification.

Obviously, the first procedure just won’t do the trick in my case. So I went for the second option, which is to verify domain ownership. It is a simple procedure, consisted of two steps.

Couple of hours ago, I had been frustrated because one of my external hard-disk wasn’t showing any files/folders due to attack. I opened Windows Explorer and got nothing listed in it.

So I checked the disk space usage, and I found out that something occupied the disk space. I just couldn’t see it. So I try to find a way to show hidden files, through Folder Options (in Control Panel, type “Folder Options” in the search bar)

Well, it didn’t work as I expected. I also have tried to change the folders/files by using the command prompt (using attrib command), but to no avail. The files and folders weren’t showing in the Windows Explorer.

After hours of searching and browsing the web, I realize that the hidden status could be something at a higher level than the “ordinary” hidden attribute. So I check the folder options again and did some changes so that I could see the “protected system files” and voila! The previously hidden files (and folders) were shown in the Windows Explorer, but they still showed in gray. Which means, they were still “hidden” at that time.

Usually the simplest way would be open the properties and change the hidden attribute (by removing the tick from the chekcbox). But the thing was, the checkbox was disabled.
