I’m Up and Running!

Okay, after my previous hosting provider turn my so-worshiped domain (nichpakaich.net) into a static page. I said to my self

Gotta go to a new hive, definitely

And I did, that’s why you got the chance to see this post in the first place. Anyway, I have a very lucky week. You know why? Because this domain, came without any dime spent. And about this hosting, arr.. I don’t want to talk about other’s generosity (you’ll hunt the person for getting one for yourself, and I’m being preventive).

Okay, stop thinking that I’m like one of those stingy person walking on earth. I’m about to let you know how to get yourself a domain, for free (in terms of economics: free means no money needed). But I’m telling you, this process doesn’t mean you can sit nicely on your couch and wait for some miracle to happen. Believe me, you got to earn it.

I’m going to make it short, but I believe the steps are clear and precise. Here we go:

To Participate

• If you haven’t got yourself any twitter account, go get one. Just go to http://twitter.com/
• After you sign up, follow me on twitter (this is for practice purpose). How? You can find me at

• You can’t miss the big “FOLLOW” button right under my display image, click it.
• Okay, if you can do that, then I believe you can follow NameCheap as well. Just go to http://twitter.com/NameCheap and repeat the previous steps that I’ve mentioned.

Every hour of the hour, this NameCheap will twitting a trivia. And for each question, there will be 3 (not one, but three) winners picked from among the other participants.

• The very first one who gave a correct answer
• Randomly picked, from those who answered correctly within the first 3 minutes
• Randomly picked, from those who answered correctly within the first 10 minutes

So just go there, and start replying on the trivia. See if you can find the “reply arrow” in each entry.
If you think that your luck is so unreliable, don’t feel down. Still, there’s a prize for the one that give the highest number of correct answer, and a free iPOD NANO can be yours.

To Claim Your Prize

Luckily, you don’t have to go on a journey and then kill a dragon, or any of those kind of stuffs. You just have to register an account in NameCheap (which is free, of course). And then do that Twitter Integration step, to verify that you own the twitter account (which won one of the trivia challenge).

If you found it hard to do, well believe me I had the same feeling before. Then here are the steps:

1. After you register for your account, go back and do the log-in process.
2. Then go to “My Account” by clicking on the navigation menu (located on header part of the page)
3. After that a new sub-menu will show (replacing the previous one). You should go with “Manage Profile“
4. Then on the left panel, you can see “Twitter Integration” menu. Got it, then hit it!
5. Now you type your twitter account/name, and submit the form.
   For God’s sake, there’s more..
6. A verification code will be sent to your Twitter’s Direct Message (like an inbox), check it out. Please note, the verification code would be sent to your Twitter’s Inbox, not your email. Got it?
7. Then type in the verification code in the Twitter Integration page, and you’re done.

After you have finished these tiringsome steps, and if you really won a trivia. Just wait till some funds transferred into your account, which then can be used to buy a domain at NameCheap. See.. I told you this isn’t easy. But still, it’s free.
