Customize Facebook Emoticon

When I was talking about Facebook Emoticon for WordPress, lots of question came in and asked something like this:

How to add this to my Facebook?

Well, I have to repeatedly explain that the plugins are meant to be used on a -based blogs. You don’t have to add that to your Facebook, because it was Facebook’s emoticon in the first place anyway.

But since there is a high-demand upon customized emoticon for Facebook, I’m going to tell you how to make one for yourself by using free stuff such as . This is fun, believe me.

Attention:

This is a FireFox Add-on related how-to, so if you don’t use Mozilla FireFox as your web-browser, you can not use this method to customize your Facebook Emoticon.

The steps are:

  1. Open your Mozilla FireFox web-browser.
  2. Go to this address (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/52179)
  3. Click on the “Download Now” button. This will bring you the END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT page. Read the whole agreement, and (if you agree) proceed by clicking on the “Download Now” button.
  4. The add-ons will be automatically installed on your FireFox web browser.

After you completed the steps above. You can log in to your Facebook account, and try the chat-box on your lower-right corner. The add-ons should works like this

      Well, it is possible, as a matter of fact.
      But you have to do a lot of coding to reach that goal.
