Instant Rank Checking

I’ve recently stumbled on this usefull Firefox addons, called SEOQuake. Which is very usefull when I want to check one page’s Google PageRank (and other statistical info).

Why do I need to do so?
Well, it’s a common thing that to gain the pagerank juice, one need to earn backlinks (or inbound links) from other page that has high Page Rank. I’m not telling that a visiting a blog then leaving your comment is merely a way to gain page rank juices, but when it comes to that.. well, this one addons will help.

Not only you will get the information when you open the page, even when you’re still on a Google Result Page, you will see the statistical information for each resulting links. So, happy hunting y’all.

Downside for the Content

Trying to gain a huge amount of traffic can be done by well-positioning your blog on SERP, yes that’s true. This is also good since the traffic generated will be counted as organic by certain search engine, which is good, I say.

How to be positioned on the SERP?

Well, based on my experience, the closer your content with the keyword the better it is (higher position on the SERP). And there are tools available out there, to help you preparing your content. Such as a meta-description tag generator that I’ve made.

Important SEO Sheet

After I take a look, back to my previous posts, I’ve noticed that I’m giving a certain amount of concern towards the SEO. Well, that’s because I’m trying to see if I can really gain a substantial traffic by being well-positioned on Google SERP, instead of the EntreCard advantages.

I haven’t tried it all, but some SEO techniques really demands an abundant effort to get me accustomed to work accordingly. For example, defining the meta-description tag for each post. Well, now that I’m getting used to it, there seems no problem at all. But looking back to the days before, yeah it sure ask too much from me.
