It’s Super Bowl weekend and Namecheap has an annual tradition of having a great Super Bowl party every year. Through Twitter, they are running football trivia for 48 hours straight!

The object of this contest is simple: Follow @Namecheap on Twitter and answer the trivia questions correctly. They will post a new question any time during the hour every hour. Eight domains will be awarded hourly to winners who answer the questions correctly.

But it doesn’t stop there. Two top scorers will each receive a 16GB WiFi iPad 2!
(The Apple iPad is the 16GB edition valued at $499)

If you are one of the first four people to answer correctly, they will send $10.69 for a new domain or renewal directly into your Namecheap account. Four other winners chosen at random will win the $10.69 domain name credit as well, so don’t give up if you’re not the first!

You are only eligible to win a domain once per day based on the EST timezone. (Therefore, yes, you can win on the 23:00 hour and then again at 00:00!).

They will then announce the winners and answers on Twitter.

NameCheap Super Weekend Twitter

NameCheap is having another free domain giveaway during this weekend. The trivia is related to Super Bowl Championship. So for you that is a big fan of American Football, this is your chance to get yourself a domain that help you to tell us more about your team.

NameCheap will be posting one trivia question every hour between February 6th and February 7th 2010 EST. So this only last for two days, make sure you act quickly. Participation in our Superrbowl Trivia Contest is simple:

1. Have yourself a twitter account, because this is where you will get the trivia questions and send your answers.
2. You have to registered with a NameCheap account. Click here to register a new NameCheap account.
3. Follow NameCheap (to get the questions)
4. Integrate your twitter account with your NameCheap account. This way NameCheap will be able to confirm and deposit your winnings (after you registered, go here)
5. When NameCheap tweets the question, you reply with the answer
   ex: @NameCheap [the answer]

The first person to reply to the Tweet with the correct answer will receive the $9.69 credit to their NameCheap account. Two other domain winners will be picked at random, so don’t give up if you’re not the first. You still have big chances to win! You can see the winners and answers on Twitter.
