When I was talking about Facebook Emoticon for Wordpress, lots of question came in and asked something like this:

How to add this to my Facebook?

Well, I have to repeatedly explain that the plugins are meant to be used on a Wordpress-based blogs. You don’t have to add that to your Facebook, because it was Facebook’s emoticon in the first place anyway.

But since there is a high-demand upon customized emoticon for Facebook, I’m going to tell you how to make one for yourself by using free stuff such as Facemood. This is fun, believe me.

Having smilies in your posts can add cheerful towards your blog environment, well at least that what I feel :smile:

So now I’m going to share a free wordpress plugins for your wordpress-powered blog. This plugins will provide you an easy way to use the same emoticons that are being used in the Facebook chat nowadays. I say easy, because it’s much easier than having to insert the emoticon image every time you want one to appear in your post.

Feel free to take it, and use it as you please. It’s just me, trying to make the blogosphere into a better place :sunglasses:

After I shared the easiest how-tos for installing plugins into your Wordpress blog, now I’m going to set you with some buzz. Since plugins weren’t made without any purpose, then you shouldn’t be surprised how many options you will get if you try to search “wordpress plugins” on Google.

There are lots and lots of their kind available on the net. Some looks similar in names and functionality with others, but basically they all exist for a purpose (probably with some minor features to differentiate). I also did some modification with a couple of free-to-download plugins sometimes before, because what they offer sometimes didn’t meet my needs. So another breed of plugins born and served human kind, huh?

The rest of this entry is about a very basic plugins that I used, without paying attention to any optimization what-so-ever. Just go for them, and try to install it first (so you get acustom with installing a Wordpress plugin).
