It Doesn’t Mean You Can Buy Me

I knew I haven’t mentioned anything regarding what do I DO for LIVING, in this new blog of mine. And if you feel curious about it, alright I’ll tell you. I’m a web programmer, a system analyst, a network administrator.. and so on. But to make it simple, I’m an IT freelancer. So what do I DO for LIVING? I do IT stuffs.

Even if I do earn some amount of money from blogging (as I already did), the portion is just too small to be listed in my living-support system. But believe me; the pleasure of doing it, is much more interesting than the money I earn. Why? Because when it comes the time when people willing to reward my with the so-called money (dollar, rups, whatever) I start to slowing down the pace. And possibly, stop the without any concern with the effort I’ve made. Call me ignorant, or foolish. But the thing that interest me the most, definitely earn my priority.

On Laptop

On Laptop

On my daily life, I provide one-stop IT support for those in need. My closest friend, is my laptop. But don’t think that I’m a geek. I believe in the advantage a laptop can bring. I got connected, that’s for sure.

Describe your problem and I’ll solve it for you (along with alternatives waiting for your call). Request me something, and I’ll make it for you. Name the price and I will see if we can get along with it..but that’s all there is. That so-easy-to-read process cycle, is just to damn boring. The conservative way people tend to use, in dealing with me have brought disaster on their side *LOL*

Hence, I often focus more on blogging, rather than my offline business. Yes, blogging is much more interesting.. The rewards (amount and type) may vary, depending on how I perform. And that make it becomes much more interesting to do. In the real world, I never appreciated based on my performance; my reward is foretold when the negotiation at the start ends. That spoils the fun, don’t you think?

  1. I am also a Computer Science/IT student and working part time as a Systems Admin for one small company. The advantages are many, as you mentioned, in diversifying your work towards freelancing and online support. For us, internet has become a drug…the more we use it, the more we want it. ;)

Good luck in your freelancing work mate. Hopefully, I will learn valuable lessons in freelancing as we go along…

There are many dilemmas on blogging. As it for money, for your own idealism and even for fun. At least for me, there will be the same expectation by doing this stuff : to prove the world that I’m exist in this “virtual world”. Lol!

Achievement is not depend on how much money you can earn, Love your job is more important, with that feeling you won’t give up with every obstacle that you have to face.
    Good Luck :)
